TOURIST ENTRY REGULATIONS TO ISRAEL

Entry to Israel: Non-Israeli Citizens

COVID 19 Up to date Entry Regulations to Israel & Jordan effective May 20, 2022.

​

ISRAEL 

​

  • Entry is permitted for vaccinated and non-vaccinated travelers.

  • Medical Travel Insurance is required for all travelers entering Israel to include COVID coverage. 

  • It will not be required to present a negative result on a COVID test before boarding a flight to Israel or a cruise to Israel or before arriving at an Israeli land border crossing.

  • It will not be required to present a negative result on a COVID test before boarding a cruise departing Israel. This guidance is set forth according to the requirements of the Israel Ministry of Health. You are required to inquire the requirements of the company operating the cruise.

  • The PCR testing mandate for those entering Israel at airports and maritime and land border crossings will be lifted.

  • It will not be required to isolate for 24 hours after entering Israel.

  • The mask mandate for those entering Israel (who have been required to isolate until receipt of a PCR test result) in airports and maritime and land border crossings will be lifted.

    Note:

  • The mask mandate during international flights – will remain in effect.

  • The requirement to fill an entry statement before arriving in Israel via air or sea – will remain in effect.

SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

ENTRY TO ISRAEL VIA BEN GURION AIRPORT

​

1. An entry permit must be filled 48 hrs prior to arrival time into Israel. Please visit the link here below.

When filling out the form, there is a requirement to place a phone number - please contact RTEP for the correct local phone number related to your particular tour.

EXIT FROM ISRAEL VIA BEN GURION AIRPORT

​

- Depending on the country of destination requirements, the airline will require either an ANTIGEN or a PCR test to be provided at check-in prior to boarding your flight. The test will be performed at your hotel in Israel. (An ANTIGEN test costs $35.00 per person & a PCR test costs $65.00 per person). 

​

If any group member is traveling individually and their flight is not departing at the same time as the rest of the group, then a PCR/ANTIGEN must be done at a private LAB. Added to the test cost is the cost for the TAXI transfers (Hotel-LAB-Hotel at an approximate cost of 30-40$)

​

RTEP will do all the necessary arrangements for this test at your hotel, in cooperation with our Local Agent.

JORDAN

 

ENTRY TO JORDAN VIA QUEEN ALIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT & LAND CROSSINGS

​

  • Entry is permitted for vaccinated and non-vaccinated travelers subject to the following requirements:

  • Jordan waived all PCR and ANTIGEN test requirements from all International border arrivals (Land and Air). 

  • Jordan requires travelers to fill out an entry form 5 days prior to arrival. To fill out the form, please visit:  https://www.gateway2jordan.gov.jo/form/

  • If an individual or a group is visiting Israel after Jordan, a PCR test is required to be taken in Jordan prior to departure to Israel and another test upon arrival in Israel (test pp in Jordan is $30.00 & $33.00 in Israel) 

 

All payments must be paid online.

 

These regulations are up to date as of March 17, 2022. The information will be updated with further changes should they occur.
